Recruitment Manager

Our highly respected US law firm client is looking to recruit a Recruitment Manager for their London office. Reporting into the Director of Administration, the Recruitment Manager will manage all the Lateral and Graduate Recruitment for the London office, and will work closely with the partnership regarding the development and implementation of recruiting strategies. Key responsibilities for the Recruitment Manager will include:

• Working with the Partners to design, implement and coordinate the process for the recruitment of Lateral Partners, Associates and Paralegals
• Interviewing suitable candidates
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with search firms
• Preparing and monitoring the London office recruitment budget
• Leading on the firm's Graduate Recruitment programme, including monitoring advertising, attending law fair, building relationships with universities, and supervising the trainee induction process
• Managing the seat move process and the qualification process

The ideal candidate for the Recruitment Manager role will be degree educated and have strong previous legal recruiting experience from law firm environment. Prior experience of recruiting lawyers is a must, and experience of managing the graduate recruitment process is strongly preferred. You will have the gravitas and confidence to work with senior individuals, and a keen interest in understanding the work of the lawyers. You must be able to manage and prioritise a busy workload, and have excellent interpersonal skills and good business acumen.
