The Company is an investment firm that seeds hedge funds and further supports their growth and ongoing management. They invest in top trading talent globally to build institutional asset management firms. The company has offices in London and New York.
The EA role is ideally suited to an experienced, energetic, proactive and ambitious team member. We are looking for a dynamic, open-minded individual to provide support to the CEO and other Executive Team members and to be a meaningful contributor to the success of the business.
This role is one of breadth and variety. As EA to the CEO and other Executive Team members you will perform a diverse range of administrative duties requiring confidentiality, initiative and sound judgement. And if desired you can get involved in a range of analyst functions of the business, affording you a chance to further develop a broad skill set well-suited to growing into the role of an analyst of an asset management business.
Hours: 9am – 6pm, Monday to Friday
Location: London, W1
Salary: £35k - £45k dependent upon experience
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Executive Assistance
- Diary management for CEO and Executive team member
- Direct support of up to 4 Executive team member and general support to a team of 6
- Co-ordinate and manage travel arrangements
- Preparing all relevant agenda, papers and pre-briefs in advance of meetings or calls
- Screening and responding to telephone calls, enquiries and requests providing responses as appropriate
- Handling invoices and preparing expenses
- Organizing personal matters for the CEO (such as travel, events and banking)
General Office Management
- First point of contact for both internal and external callers
- Organize internal and external events and gatherings o Liaising with service providers
- Various administrative tasks including office orders or handling internal IT
- Support the onboarding of new employees
- Providing support in internal meetings by writing minutes
- Support team in business development activities
Candidates must be / have:
- Have proven experience of working as Executive Assistance within a complex organization
- Have worked in an financial environment
- Hold a degree level education (or equivalent relevant experience)
- High level of proficiency in MS Office applications
- Be an articulate and confident communicator with the ability to assimilate complex issues into simple messages
- Responsive and quick thinking, able to use their initiative to overcome typical challenges when managing busy diaries or office environments
- Highly organized with ability to work under own initiative and under direction Attention to detail, strong time management and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer focused approach, presentable and polished
- Work permit or EU nationality for ease of UK employment
- Fluency in English, additional languages helpful but not required
- Proactive mentality, willingness to get involved in a variety of projects and activities
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, high-energy individual who is goal-oriented and results driven Desire and flexibility to work in an entrepreneurial environment
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; an effective and open communicator Enthusiastic, dedicated, hardworking and articulate
- Highest level of professionalism and personal integrity
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and strong technology skills
- Knowledge of CRM
- Interest and experience in asset management, consulting, or investment related firms preferred Experience of working in an information sensitive environment
