Property Administrator/Operations Assistant

City of London

£30,000 - £34,000

My client is a well known Real Estate Investment Fund who is based in the City. They are looking for a Property Administrator/Operations Assistant to support their Operations Manager to ensure that Client and Third Party procedures are documented and published.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Manage the company intranet to ensure it is up to date and well presented. Ensuring the relevant intranet pages contain up to date and accurate information at all times.
  • Developing and implementing Client and company procedures, ensuring that processes are followed and the necessary controls are adopted.
  • Produce information packs for the property managers and lawyers.
  • Ensure valuations are uploaded in a timely and accurate manner, liaising with valuers and the Lease Completions team to ensure they have the correct data and that errors are minimised.
  • Cover the management of the Document Execution process and supplier set ups.
  • Take ownership of the Client Checklist list, ensuring all company requirements are met on sales and purchases.
  • Supporting the operation team on general projects and ad hoc requests
  • Valuation data is uploaded accurately and on time
  • Documents are executed according to procedures

The ideal candidate will have/will be:

  • Experience in the property sector and understanding of basic property terminology beneficial.
  • Organisation and time management skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in written format.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Able to use their own initiative and to have a pro-active outlook to work.
  • Able to work effectively in a team, to take responsibility for the workload and adapt to help others if needs be.
  • Present well thought out and researched proposed courses of action to rectify any issues.
  • Have an analytical approach to data.
  • Have the ability to manage a changing workload and the appropriate deadlines.
  • Be familiar with MS office applications and understand the principles of database maintenance
