Sarum Hall School is a small, independent preparatory school for girls aged 3-11 seeking a Head’s PA and Admissions Secretary to join their vibrant and caring school community.

The School’s location in a purpose-built building in a leafy residential area that is close to the heart of London is a considerable asset. Facilities are excellent and regularly updated, and results are outstanding with girls progressing to some of the leading independent schools in the UK.

The School seeks a PA with a proven track record to take up this multifaceted pivotal role. The ideal candidate will have:

  • enthusiasm for working in a school environment;
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • a proactive, common sense approach;
  • utter discretion, reliability and sound judgement;
  • excellent IT and organisational skills; and
  • the ability to juggle and prioritise multiple issues whilst remaining serenely calm.

Key elements of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • To be the face of the School: being the first port of call for visitors and parents, dealing with enquiries, answering and screening telephone calls and processing email and mail;
  • Diary management for the Headmistress;
  • Oversee the complete admissions process from enquiry through to leaving the school;
  • Develop and uphold relationships with nurseries, senior schools and relocation agencies;
  • Process the termly fee invoices;
  • Monitor current and future school roll numbers, including careful monitoring of offers; and
  • Manage the senior school transfer process, including communications with parents and schools and maintaining records.

The post is available from June 2017.

Working hours are 8.15am to 4.45pm, Monday to Friday, with 8 weeks holidays.
