Internal Communications Co-ordinator
There is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Internal Communications professional to join a growing team. Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, sitting within our Global Communications team, this role's ultimate goal is to ensure the companies colleagues are kept informed and motivated by the companies strategy and story, using our key IC channels within the business.
As an IC team, they are accountable for everything that colleagues see across our global sites either on their internal communications platforms or around their headquarters buildings.
What You Will Be Doing
Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
*Use creative flare to create, review, edit and publish compelling content on our internal communications channels, - translating sometimes complex messages and priorities into simple language
*Use a number of different communications mediums (including video) to deliver tailored messages to our colleagues across the company, at speed
*Work collaboratively with all areas of the business to form, manage and maintain our internal communications activity planner
*Work with key stakeholders and support the IC team within the business to develop internal presentations that can be presented at company events
*Work with external suppliers to gain the best outcomes for the business
*Ensure internal communications messages are consistent with external communications and that our colleagues are updated in real-time
*Manage the internal communications inbox and project requests
*Manage, edit and publish any all colleague announcements or updates
*Support the team with evaluating, implementing and maintaining up-to-date and creative communications around the office and support the other group offices too
*Keep up to date with and be happy using our tone of voice and style guides and promote these internally
*Event management including supporting the companies leadership days-logistics, content development, delegate management and use of social media and digital tools to connect people worldwide
*Alongside these exciting opportunities will be some team support type activities:
-Co-ordinating team meetings
-Manage manual distribution lists and keep on top of leadership changes
-Ad hoc filming of leadership team and events
-Ad hoc campaign and project support
-Owning and managing our internal communications share drive
-Owning the work order process and invoice processes to help us stay on top of budget
What We Are Looking For
*A candidate with experience of working within an internal communications team
*A person with obsessive attention to detail
*A content expert with proven successes of written and multimedia communications with adaptable style, approach and messaging
*Highly computer-literate and able to learn how to use internal programmes quickly
*A whizz with PowerPoint and Adobe if possible
*Filming experience advantageous
*Demonstrable experience of writing and where possible of projects or campaigns
*Experience of different internal communication channels i.e. intranets, email, newsletters and social platforms
*Experience working within a fast-paced retail environment advantageous
