THE COMPANY:
Our client, is a rapidly growing court reporting and legal technology business offering real-time and delayed transcription and world-leading technology services to legal firms in the UK and around the world. They are now seeking a Case Management System Data Entry Officer to join the team.
THE ROLE:
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will join our Transcription Department, working alongside our other teams, to ensure the accurate entry of information on to our Case Management System and the processing and verification of audio material received.
Key tasks within the role include:
- Conversion/processing audio files received ready for assignment;
- Entering orders on to the Case Management System;
- Working closely with the Client Liaison Officers to ensure that external recording equipment is installed within the specified timeframe and guidelines;
- Provide feedback to the Client Liaison Officers regarding specific installations and client issues on site;
- Liaising with Transcribers to ensure their needs are met and that they are able to meet transcription service delivery timeframes;
- Other administrative duties as required.

- Excellent team player;
- Bright and engaging with a proactive and flexible attitude;
- Professional, courteous and confident communicator;
- Sound knowledge of the English language, spelling and punctuation;
- Superior attention to detail;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Extremely well-organised;
- Ability to work on their own initiative;
- Strong aptitude in using computers, including natural ability to interact with new programs;
- A good telephone manner:
- liaising with clients to ensure necessary documentation is provided for onward transmission to sub-contractors and able to be firm with clients when needed; and
- in liaising with sub-contractors who may be working to extremely tight deadlines;
- with the ability to be firm when necessary.
- Efficient typing skills;
- High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word (2013+ editions);
- Knowledge of audio formats:
- The applicant should be able to recognise most basic audio formats and know how to convert from one format to another.
- Ability to work in a busy and sometimes stressful environment;
- Ability to be both proactive and reactive in a fast-moving environment.
