Defects Support Coordinator Starting ASAP

Your new company
A a leading UK House-building and Construction group are looking for a Defects Support Coordinator to join their busy and successful team.


Your new role
As a Defects Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the Defects team. You will be providing an exceptional customer care service to all of the company's clients in accordance with the guidelines specified and making sure that all Defects reported are dealt with within the stipulated timescales, and inform all clients and the home buyers as to the status of these issues. You will be carrying out administrative and secretarial duties for the Defects team.
You will be responsible for recording defect issues immediately upon the Defects Database when received, and issue instructions to an alternative subcontractor when the original sub-contractor is unable to respond to a reported issue as instructed within proscribed time frame. You will also be responsible for updating the client/home owner as required to confirm the status of each reported defect.


What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will need to be able to self manage their time to achieve the varied requirements of the role and be aware of the relevance of their activities in accordance with their job role. You will need to be customer focused with excellent communication skills, and a proven construction based customer service background. Due to the nature of this position, you will need working knowledge of Clixifix, Excel, Word, Power Point and 4 Projects, as well as practical knowledge of NHBC, LABC & Premier Guarantee Guidelines.
