A high profile City firm is looking for a Stock Transfer Administrator for a 3 month contract (with the potential of being extended)

This role requires superb financial services, banking or stockbroking experience, strong administration skills, bags of initiative and a real problem solver. Must be confident and a strong communicator.

Main purpose of Stock Transfer Administrator role:

To liaise between the Investment Management Department, London and Investment Administration Department, Operations department (outside of London) in respect of administrative actions and queries related to non-market stock transfers into, out of and between client accounts including closures.

Key duties:

  • Transmission of instructions/requests of stock movements
  • Checking the original documentation received, logging in departmental records and checking that information has been correctly processed to client accounts.
  • Log and process work as received directly from the Fund Manager or their Secretary/Assistants.
  • To liaise between the Investment Management Department, dealers and contracts department to ensure that Execution trades are dealt and contracted on a timely basis. 
  • To liaise between the Investment Management Department, London and ISA Administration team, to ensure that ISA transfers are made within the industry accepted timeframe once an account has been opened. 
  • Review Quarterly Valuation lists and arrange for them to be distributed to Fund Managers for their review
  • Ad-hoc tasks to be performed as cover when volumes of staff availability dictate.
  • Working with Regulatory Reporting on documenting accounts
  • Safe Custody Review
  • Completion of deceased accounts
