Head Of Operations & E-commerce

My Client, an exciting and progressive online business have need for a Head Of Operations to join their ever expanding team. We are ideally looking for someone with an E-commerce operations background- a perfect example would be someone from and online supermarket (due to their large turnover of products) or similar. An engineering background would also be helpful due to the nature of the role. Industry experience would be a bonus, but is not compulsory.

The ideal candidate will be a true problem solver who has managed a team of 15+ people. Someone who will be able to look at the current processes, manage them and optimize them to manage costs and increase efficiency across the Operations team.

This role will be a split of supply-chain and logistics and creative with the management of both in house and external, outsourced teams. You will ideally have experience managing 3rd party suppliers and have knowledge of problems which can arise and deal with them in an effective manner while always maintaining strong working relationships.
