Position Summary
The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring RBA is operated to the highest standards, reflecting the Company's mission, vision and values. The position requires a high standard of communication and customer engagement - and the ability to promote organisational effectiveness by coordinating and leading cross-functional areas. The Operations Manager will be responsible for RBA’s Learning Management System as well as managing classroom programmes globally. They will be responsible for managing a small team and have the aptitude to work within a small but very ambitious business.
The Retail Banking Academy
The Retail Banking Academy has been delivering the Certified Retail Banking (CRB) qualification to retail bankers in more than 100 countries worldwide since 2011. Today we have more than 5000 candidates studying our qualification with a view to doubling our candidates by 2018.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Manage programme budgets and P&L responsibility
- Manage the operations of the RBA’s e-learning and trouble-shoot challenges for staff, candidates and clients in a timely manner.
- Manage RBA events and classroom programmes
- Project manage curriculum reviews and new e-learning – to be launched January 2018
- Manage all course set up requests including coordination of candidate enrolments.
- Maintain a high level of customer service both internally (RBA staff) and externally (RBA candidates and clients), ensuring the positive promotion of RBA worldwide.
- Work with other team members on combined activities to ensure that the operational goals of the RBA are achieved.
- Ensure all RBA Operational Polices are kept up to date and updated accordingly.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of two years’ experience within an Operations Manager role
- Project Management experience - hard and soft skills
- Previous experience in managing high level events and multiple projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sophisticated time management skills and excellent attention to detail
- Proven experience with a Learning Management System - RBA currently work with Moodle
- Proficient in Microsoft packages such as outlook, word, powerpoint and excel
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills and the ability to multitask
- Experience in managing and leading a small team
- Database management and an understanding of Salesforce would be desirable
- The ability to trouble-shoot challenges
- Relationship management and excellent customer service
- Degree or Diploma in Business Operations Management / Project Management desirable but not essential
