Brilliant new role for a Senior PA to join the Equities Department of a Global Investment Firm based in stunning City offices.  You will have Advanced M/S Office skills and similar previous experience from within a Finance Company.  The role will involve:-

•    Having a clear understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Producing consultant presentations, model presentations and other documents as required to a high standard.
•    Office Management - Financials - co-ordinating payment of invoices; monthly Credit Card and other expenses.  IT requirements; to include ordering new PCs, desk moves and setting up of workstations for new employees.  Monitoring staff absences and maintaining department sickness records.
•    Intranet – maintenance of the teams intranet site.
•    Organisation of travel and meetings and preparing detailed/precise itineraries, expenses.
•    Organisation of meetings, co-ordinating diaries, booking internal/external meetings and conferences.  Liaising with Brokers.
•    Telephone skills - polite and helpful telephone manner, providing assistance to the caller without reference to managers where appropriate. Ensuring telephones are answered promptly and providing appropriate telephone cover where necessary.
•    Developing effective internal relationships – and responding quickly and professionally to client requests therefore developing positive relationships
•    Deals with queries effectively - Responds promptly to user / customer queries. Deals effectively with the Investment Heads, other senior Barings staff, external consultant contacts, investment managers and their secretaries.

Skills / Experience required – Essential:
•    Advanced PowerPoint.
•    Previous experience of organising international travel.
•    Meeting documentation preparation.
•    Able to anticipate and solve problems.
