Temporary PA role £18ph London
Our client is looking for an experienced Personal assistant to join their team. Working for a great professional body dedicated to improving the practice of medicine, this is a chance to get involved in an interesting and complex part of the organisation, providing PA support and ensuring there is a smooth day-to-day running of all duties.
Who will you be working for?
Their office location is in the prime sightseeing hub of Regents Park. You will be based in their new office complex in a historically important part of London, where tourists and locals alike fill the immaculately maintained streets. This is an excellent location in order to achieve a great work life balance.
Their focus is on training, research, quality and advice for its vast member base in the health sector. They are an academic institution with a passion for increasing the standards of healthcare provision in the U.K.
The job
You will be responsible for:
- To manage the business activities in an efficient manner
- To be a first point of contact prioritising requests and providing support to enable effective delivery of their roles
- To deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence, including assessing its priority, collating it with relevant background information and presenting it in a logical and orderly manner
- Maintain accurate electronic filing systems: clear, systematic approach to labelling documents and accurate filing to ensure shared files are accessible
- Managing diaries, bookings, hospitality and some travel arrangements
- Organising meetings and brief notes
- To provide co-ordination support to core directors activities
- To work proactively with the line manager and other staff
- Dealing with enquiries, building relationships internally and externally and receiving and greeting visitors.
- To undertake all duties and responsibilities in compliance with the rules and regulations encompassing equality opportunities and the Data Protection Act and the Care Quality Improvement Department's Information Governance Policy
- To assist with other ad-hoc duties that might need assistance.
About you
- Previous PA experience
- Relevant administrative / secretarial qualifications or proven experience in a busy high-profile organisation office environment with varied and complex workload
- Strong Microsoft experience and word processing skills
- A strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to multitask and prioritise whilst delivering high-quality work
- You must have had experience drafting correspondence and have strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and to adapt plans quickly when needed.
