We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Administrator with previous experience in Marketing and Events to join the Business Development team of a global Marcomms company in the City. This is the perfect position for someone who has a genuine passion for building a career in the Marcomms industry. This is an on-going temporary position.

The ideal candidate will be a fantastic communicator, highly organised with strong attention to detail. They are looking for a strong, reliable and friendly team player with an outgoing personality. 

You will work closely with the team to deliver innovation and business development initiatives.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Helping to organize and create events and forums and being the main point of contact for event venues and suppliers
• Maintaining and compiling attendee lists, acting as first point of contact for all attendees
• Liaising with invites
• Sourcing suitable venues
• Creating meeting materials including agendas
• Event and office logistics
• Managing budget, coding and sending invoices to finance
• Managing deadlines of all program materials, design and set up, including; coordination of all event facets, speaker coordination, correspondence, attendance tracking and presentation and materials review
• Measuring and tracking effectiveness of programming

You will also be responsible for content on the companies’ intranet page, managing event pages, posting all content, encouraging engagement and answering queries. 

Other duties will include keeping client and agency accounts up to date and compiling and running monthly reports. 

Required skills and experiences:
• Show an understanding and aptitude for the marketing services industry
• Highly professional manner and networking skills
• Strong written communication skills
• Previous experience copywriting on and offline content as well as promotional materials
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Ability to communicate at all levels off the business both verbally and in writing
• Proven ability to handle a large volume of workload with tight deadlines
• Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as having a p proactive attitude when working within the team
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Work, PowerPoint and Outlook
• This is an ongoing temp position so you must be available immediately
