THE COMPANY:
Our client is a global organisation within the insurance industry looking for a Team Assistant/Team Administrator to join their busy, successful and rapidly growing team.
THE ROLE:
• Organising travel, accommodation and lunches as required
• Providing Secretarial support to the team
• Undertaking diary management - updating, reviewing and arranging meetings using Microsoft Outlook, for internal and external clients
• Carrying out research on potential clients and preparing information packs and/or reports for meetings and marketing events
• Opening post, distributing and organising the post out, couriers etc.
• Undertaking any other general office admin tasks as required such as scanning
• Fielding telephone calls, taking messages and maintaining contact when managers and partners are out of the office including subsequent follow up
• Undertaking filing and ensuring tidy and efficient working environment
• Updating client and contact information on the firm’s database system (Contact Relationship Management/APS/Outlook)
• Provision of secretarial cover for other department secretaries in liaison with other members of support team
• Sharing the workload across the team and supporting others when busy
THE PERSON:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm; experience with transcription / audio typing
• Team player, flexible
• Experience of working in a City based environment
