Reporting to the General Manager HR, this varied HR Manager opportunity would suit a CIPD qualified HR professional with strong leadership and influencing talents, an appreciation of a changing working environment and an in-depth understanding of UK employment law.

Based in the heart of Canary Wharf for a global logistics / shipping company, this HR Manager role is responsible for providing an effective HR service with the collaboration of the HR Director and HR General Manager to provide high level strategic support to business divisions.

This company has recently and is continuing to go through a lot of changes and it is crucial that the HR Manager has an adaptable character and experience in Change Management.

This HR Manager position has one direct report: an HR Administrator.

To be successful in this HR Manager role, you will have:

*CIPD qualification
*Degree level education or equivalent
*5 + years' experience working within HR within a commercial environment
*In-depth understanding of UK employment law
*Experience working for a European or international company and dealing with a range of different cultures preferable
*Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
*Experience preparing and delivering presentations to a range of audiences desirable
*Exceptional communication and interpersonal talents
*Leadership and influencing skills
*Calm under pressure
*High attention to detail
*Strong organisation and planning skills
*Discretion and confidentiality
