A truly fantastic position has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant and Administrator to support a Director and to provide administrative support to the work of the directorate and particularly the wider unit. This is a key coordinating role and will promote and facilitate effective team working and directorate planning, and be responsible for implementing best practice and efficient administrative processes and systems in support of the work of the directorate.
Candidates should be educated to degree level, with experience of working in a science, academic or related environment with considerable administrative and executive assistant experience. You must be a highly pro-active and self-motivated individual with excellent communication, IT and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate sound judgement. You will have experience of providing effective diary management and secretarial support at senior management level, committee servicing and supporting the operational needs of a department in a range of activities.
Perhaps most importantly, you will be someone who takes great pride in your accuracy and your advanced organisational abilities.
