HR Assistant (12 month FTC)

An amazing opening has arisen for an HR Assistant (Trainee) to join this top US law firm, situated in London's West End.

Situated in a top international law firm, you will be working very closely with a team of four established HR professionals, to ensure the smooth day to day running of the firms HR department.
 
Your duties will be diverse and challenging yet also very rewarding and crucial to the overall running of the firm.
 
Offering training and development, you will gain exposure and experience in how to manage a law firms HR principles, policies and best practice procedures.
 
This really is a very unique opportunity to gain valuable insight and working knowledge of a law firms HR team.
 
You will be responsible for a wide range of duties including;
 
*Assisting with the recruitment process by logging CVS's, arranging interviews and creating interview packs.
 
*Producing various reports covering sickness, lateness, holidays,joiners, leavers and pending job applications.
 
*Assisting with visa applications for staff.
 
*Carrying out ad hoc administrative duties such as purchasing gifts for various occasions.
 
To be able to succeed in this position ideally you will ;
 
* Have previous experience of working within an HR Department in some capacity, or at least display a keen and genuine interest in HR matters.
 
*Be educated to degree level (or equivalent) with GCSE grades A-C in Maths, English and Science.
 
Most importantly you will need to be passionate, committed and willing to learn, in this great position.
