Qualified Accountant

Our client a long established firm of certified accountants based in Swanley Village who are a dynamic company who is rapidly growing and who are currently looking to recruit a Senior Qualified Accountant.

They company has a “roll your sleeves up” approach to work as the nature of the work is varied and can change from one day from preparing a basic set of accounts for a sole trader to dealing with the requirements of a much larger limited company. 

APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE DUE TO LOCATION OF OFFICES.

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting with preparation of statutory annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and larger limited companies.
• Assisting with preparation of management accounts for clients.
• Assisting with bookkeeping services occasionally, and with preparation of VAT Returns.
• Assisting in the department with any additional ad hoc duties and queries.

• Ideally you will have a UK practice background with at least 5 years working in an accountancy practice
• Previous experience of accounts preparation for clients is essential.
• AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified individuals are desired.
• SAGE/IRIS experience and excellent Excel skills are desirable.
