An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an HR Advisor to join the London office of a US law firm. In this role, the HR Advisor is responsible for the HR programmes, policies and activities for the firm's EMEA offices. Reporting into the Senior HR Director EMEA, key responsibilities for the HR Advisor will be diverse and shall include:

  • Being first point of contact for all HR related questions from the firm's international offices
  • Working with local HR/Office Managers to ensure policies and procedures are compliant with local regulations and laws
  • Assisting with disciplinary meetings and investigations
  • Recruitment for lawyers and staff in international offices
  • Alongside the Senior HR Director EMEA, assist with all aspects of the performance evaluation process for lawyers and staff
  • Assisting with preparation of data for salary surveys and tracking market data trends
  • Coordinating the roll-out of training programmes

The ideal candidate for the HR Advisor position will be degree-educated, and have strong HR experience within a Law firm or Professional Services firm. An understanding of employment laws within Europe, Middle East and Asia is highly desirable. You must have excellent communication skills and be technically strong in all HR functional areas. You will be a team player who is able to manage difficult situations and establish credibility quickly.
