Prestigious, luxury hair and beauty salon based in Central (South West) London seeks a polished, professional and personable receptionist to join their busy front of house team.

With years of expertise, the salon offers every customer a luxuriously glamorous salon experience. With a client base inclusive of a range of HNWIs, the role places a keen focus on providing the ultimate customer experience – ensuring every customer receives the most luxurious experience in a professional manner.

As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for customers. You will need to ensure that all customers are greeted in a warm and personable manner whilst maintaining professionalism at all times. You will be working with a team of 3 other receptionists to ensure the smooth running of their front of house. You will need to be able to work well under pressure, with an ability to work proactively and multitask.

You will report to the head of Operations for the Salon and the Salon Manager. You will work closely with the reception team, as well as the stylists, colourists, and the beauty team to help hit targets as a group to earn bonuses. This can be achieved through upselling products and services.

The role comes with plenty of opportunity for progression for the right candidate! Once you have mastered the reception duties and customer service, there will be opportunities for you to take on additional responsibilities in areas that interest you. The staff  are warm and supportive, and eager to help someone develop personally and professional should they want to.

As receptionist, you will be:

  • Able to offer unparalleled levels of exceptional customer service
  • Confident in dealing with HNWI – maintaining discretion at all times
  • Able to manage expectations and deal with queries, and potentially complaints should they arise
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and prioritise
  • Unflappable and calm – “cool as a cucumber” at all times
  • A skilled communicator with an ability to build rapport with the team and with clients
  • Well presented with an interest in fashion and beauty
  • Keen to learn and able to adapt
  • Computer savvy and able to learn new systems
  • Experienced in providing first class customer service - for example, a years' experience working within retail for a luxury brand or a front of house role within the corporate sector
