THE COMPANY: My Client a Global Engineering company based in the West End is looking for a Generalist HR Assistant who has a minimum of two years experience within a similar position. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a HR Manager who believes in mentoring the succesful candidate for personal and career development. 
 


THE ROLE: You will be working very closely with a proactive HR Manager who will be prepared to teach on Projects and Strategy with a study package available.


-       Manage and take ownership of the recruitment cycle from start to finish

-       Create/update job descriptions when a recruitment need is identified

-       Liaise with agencies to source CVs and provide constructive and detailed feedback on candidates
 
-       Keep the training records spreadsheet up to date at all times

-       Carry out HR inductions for all new joiners (perm & contract staff)

-       Keep induction presentation and documents updated

-       Organise necessary training and meetings as part of the onboarding process

-       Manage the probation periods for all employees, enusing Manager's understand the process and review meetings are taking place.

-       Manage and take ownership of the recruitment cycle from start to finish

-       Keep the training records spreadsheet up to date at all times

-       Source and organise training courses for employees with the relevant approvals

-       Administer all of the company benefits schemes for employees

-       Support HR Manager with project work

-       Liaise with BD & Marketing team on social media drive and provide any news stories, tweets,    Instagram posts where appropriate

 
THE PERSON:

-       Must have 2 years experience minimum within a HR Generalist position

-       You will be looking for career progression
 
-       Be extremely well organised
 
-       Ensure accuracy/attention to detail at all times.
 
-       Adopt a proactive approach in your working style and prioritising your workload to meet the needs     of the business.
 
-       Keep calm while working under pressure and to deadlines.
 
-       Keep motivated through the more administrative aspects of the role.

-       Liaise effectively with employees and managers of all levels within the organisation.
