Executive Assistant, £38k, Central London
A historic and well-recognised organisation specialising in the health and medical sector is looking for an outstanding Executive Assistant to join one of their most active departments. This is a chance to get involved in an interesting and complex part of the organisation, dealing with specific national and worldwide projects.
Who will you be working for?
A reputable medical college focussing on training, research, quality and advice for its vast member base in the health sector. They are an academic institution with a passion for increasing the standards of healthcare provision in the U.K. Located north of Oxford Circus, you'll be working in one of the most exquisite parts of central London where there are beautiful parks to enjoy on your lunch break and plenty of eateries to spoil yourself with!
What does the role consist of?
The purpose of the post is to provide a comprehensive professional executive lvel support to the high level demands on the Chair, Chief Executive and Medical Director and Chief Operating Officer. You will also support and or lead on complex and strategic projects. You will be working closely with the most senior levels of the departments' governance, undertaking key liaison and being aware of the sensitive relationships between the CEO, COO and other senior members.
- EA responsibilities including effective diary management, travel and accommodation
- Act as first point of contact for the Chief Executive and Medical Director and Chief Operating Officer, minimising unnecessary emails and meeting demands through exercising judgment and understanding of priorities
- To provide executive support to the Chair
- Provide full support to a wide range of meetings and committees
- Preparing meeting papers on behalf of the Chief Executive and Medical Director and Chief Operating Officer
- Support and coordinate on complex and strategic projects
- Office management duties including budgeting, organising data and record keeping
What will the successful candidate be like?
- educated to degree level or equivalent
- proven experience in an executive assistant post for a senior board level leader
- experiencing in managing multiple complex diaries, including foreign and domestic travel arrangements, visa and managing expenses
- experience of handling high level administrative/project work
- experience of preparing agendas, briefings, papers and writing minutes for executive/board level meeting
