This is an exciting opportunity to join a very established and supportive company as a Sales Administrator. The role will involve working as part of a team and being responsible for the day to day smooth running of the sales department. You will be expected to undertake, prioritise and co-ordinate various administration tasks as directed by both the needs of the business and Sales Manager.
Job Responsibilities:-
- Co-ordination of sales enquiries - production of files, obtaining quotations, processing quotations and orders, co-ordination of all incoming and outgoing email correspondence, completion of spreadsheets.
- Taking calls from customers and relaying information to the MD and Sales Manager;
- First line support for service and spares department when busy or to provide holiday cover.
- Organising travels arrangements for staff, principals and customers as required;
- Maintaining adequate stocks of sales brochures;
- Organisation of exhibition event (every two years);
- General administration - answering the office phone, placing stationery orders; dealing with the post etc.
Person Specification:-
* Experience of working as a Sales Administrator;
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel;
* Opera experience is desirable but not essential;
* Effective and confident communication skills;
* Methodical and organised approach;
* Work well under pressure, with the aptitude to prioritise in order to meet the needs of the business;
* Meticulous record keeping with utmost attention to detail;
