High profile city insurance services company are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Corporate Receptionist to complement their team. Fabulous working environment, great company benefits and sociable place to be. Must have experience of a room booking system.

Hours are: 08.00 to 18.00 on a rota basis (08.00 to 16.00) and  (09.00 to 17.00)  and (10.00 to 18:00)

Job purpose:

  • Provide exceptional reception service for visitors and callers
  • Liaise with Facilities regarding security
  • Ensure that the reception is maintained at excellent service levels and to ensure all facilities are clean and welcoming to all users

    Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all Clients/Guests are welcomed appropriately and looked after
  • Ensure that you know and understand the daily work schedule so that you are fully conversant with your expected duties
  • Answer and transfer calls
  • Ensure Guests are taken on the whole service journey including the offering of concierge services
  • Book/ update all meeting rooms, food and drinks requests into system by writing specific notes for post room and chef and communicating verbally any changes
  • Create all visitor reports, monthly call logging, weekly hospitality reports and confirm all food bookings 24 to 48 hrs in advance
  • Produce/type all private dining menus for food and wine and write/update the kitchen board with all necessary notes
  • Be flexible with shifts, work methods and working with hospitality; and when appropriate; facilities, restaurant, postroom functions, to help ensure the smooth running of the unit

    Team Duties:

  • Ensure all meeting rooms and broker rooms are clean and tidy before each meeting and all tables are cleaned, wiped down
  • Ensure that all meeting rooms/dining rooms, reception and lounge area are checked hourly and are kept tidy
  • Ensure the lounge area/fridge is fully stocked at all times
  • Clean and maintain in good condition all equipment
  • Liaise with hospitality, facilities, restaurant, facilities and postroom functions to ensure smooth operation
  • Assist with the refreshment services, making coffees and delivering refreshments to the lounge area and all meeting rooms
  • Take care of all guests’ belongings and offer concierge card
