This is an exciting opportunity to join this fast growing Consulting team within a top 10 Accountants. We are looking for someone proactive, who will quickly get to know what our team does and enjoy being part of it.
Consulting is a recently formed business unit, with 100 staff and partners with ambitious plans to grow through delivering a broad range of consultancy services across many existing and new clients.
Core duties
Act as a first point of contact for allocated team – Consulting Partners and where capacity allows assisting the wider team with limited support
Develop and maintain internal and external networks, building knowledge of key issues in order to effectively identify and communicate priorities.
Manage administration of meetings; attend to take minutes, including documentation collation. Ensure all papers are prepared ahead of meeting as necessary.
Prepare, amend and progress presentations within the branding guidelines as and when required
Proactively monitor meeting attendance, taking ownership to ensure enquiries and issues are appropriately delegated and resolved effectively.
Facilitate all logistical arrangements including accommodation, conference calls, breakfast, lunches and dinners.
Proactive itinerary planning, researching and considering reasonable alternative cost effective travel. Maximising cost reduction opportunities.
Manage communications, monitor emails, post, and calls taking appropriate action, escalation or delegating accordingly.
Proof read and sense checks all communications and documentation, complying with brand and risk procedures.
Project manages large and complex events ensuring compliance with policies and liaising with procurement, risk management, health and safety and all other relevant teams.
Facilitate all logistical arrangements and attend events as required, proactively ensuring relevant documentation is available.
Monthly billing – manage and assists in fee preparation and processing as required. Prompting the team in advance. Raising credit notes as required.
Prepare and submit timesheets when necessary
Ideal candidate will have similar experience and professional services background very desirable.
