Our client, a medium sized Mayfair Law firm are looking to secure a PA for the firms Head of Finance & IT

The role is varied and will also require the person to take minutes for the numerous board/management meetings that the  Manager has to attend. This person will frequently liaise with senior partners (especially when the manager is not in the office) so the person will need to be confident and able to problem solve.

This successful person will be responsible for sending Finance/IT communication to the partners too. Confidentiality and discretion is key as this person will have full access to the Manager’s diary and made aware of key information about the firm.

The manager is also very busy and has limited time, so need someone to manage his diary, monitor all of his emails, clear unnecessary ones etc. They need someone who is very organised and can look after all the paperwork and know where various things are. Essentially, pull everything together! Therefore the role is more about managing and coordinating things and less focus on typing (typing will focus on small letters or emails rather than large documentation work). So much more of a modern PA role as opposed to a traditional secretarial position.

Alongside the PA support you will need to assist with the partnership secretarial function, attend to insurances, regular committee and management meetings.

They are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in Finance/IT. Candidate must be IT literate.

Personal attributes: Someone resolute, sense of humour and someone who will not be phased. This is a challenging and demanding role. Someone with real drive and ability to be proactive.

Salary for this role is up to £40,000 (salary review next year)
