We have a super opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to work beside Gatwick Airport for one of our clients who are financial consultants. They are a well established company and have won several awards for their business and products throughout the years. Now, they are looking for someone who has prior office management and operations experience , to come on board and cover a fixed term maternity contract for one year commencing immediately. This is a small knit team of professionals who heavily rely on each other, so flexibility and reliability are a must for the role.
You will have extensive experience of putting procedures in place/running a small office; including diary, office management, travel and financial management together with the handling of extremely confidential and critical information. Therefore, you must be confident in working autonomously, happy to roll your sleeves up and muck in and, be used to working in a fast-paced environment.
HR experience for this role would be essential, as you will be dealing with joiners and leavers, contracts and payroll procedures. MS Office suite is paramount, and in particular the use of Excel is Key for doing bank reconciliations and reporting. You will be dealing with all of the IT issues, making sure that everything runs smoothly and like clockwork.
