Based in gorgeous open plan offices with beautiful views overlooking Regents Canal, this fantastic 14 month maternity contract is a tri-fold role providing financial control, office management and HR support to a team of 10.

This successful global consumer electronics company has an Operations Centre in Islington, N1, and this is where this Operations Manager contract vacancy is based.

This role would suit a good all rounder with HR experience, an office management background and financial knowledge. It is a linchpin role offering HR support and managing and administering processes as well as approving expenses, controlling budgets and managing suppliers and daily operations. It is a busy and varied position that would be ideal for a strong organiser with experience gained within a small company or office where you will have had responsibility for overseeing daily operations.

To be successful in this Operations Manager contract role, you will have:

*All-round background in office practice management and HR
*Maybe experience as a PA / Executive Assistant / Office Manager with HR responsibilities
*Knowledge of Health & Safety and environmental regulations
*Proven project planning and management skills
*Leadership and people management talents
*IT literacy
*Proactive, confident approach
*Excellent communication, both spoken and written
*High attention to detail
*Ability to complete a 14 month contract

Key accountabilities within this Operations Manager contract role include:

*Approving expenses and posting to ledger
*Monthly budget review and control
*Administering and updating UK budget spreadsheet
*Controlling petty cash
*Producing monthly Excel reports
*HR support for all employees including conducting grievance procedures
*Managing and administering HR processes and benefits
*Maintaining employee files
*Tracking consultancy agreements
*Approving holiday requests
*Daily operations and building and property management
*Managing and administering H&S and First Aid policies and procedures
*Managing supplier relationships and contracts
*Handling insurances
*Supervising PAs
*Overseeing IT activities
*Monitoring mobile phone and Skype subscriptions
