THE COMPANY: 

Our Client, based in the West End, are looking for a Corporate Receptionist to work within a large investment firm.

You will be focused and have corporate reception experience in a professional services company. You will possess excellent communication skills, be extremely smart and well presented and have experience of dealing with high level staff and guests.  You will also be required to do some diary for the team.

THE ROLE: 

  • Meet and greet all visitors in a highly professional and friendly manner, issuing to them visitor badges and information (including health & safety information), liaising with hosts, and directing visitors to their internal destination.
  • Answer all calls to the switchboard in a highly professional and friendly manner, routing calls as required and dealing with initial general enquiries (routing onwards as required). Screen calls as required.
  • Issuing temporary staff security cards to those who have forgotten their card, keeping a record of to whom these are issued so lost/non-returned cards can be recovered.
  • Ensure Reception is kept clean and tidy, forwarding issues and faults to the Building Management Helpdesk as required.
  • Ensure there are supplies of visitor’s passes, information cards, etc when needed.
  • Provide general local area information to visitors and staff (eg: nearest taxi rank, nearest hotel, etc) when asked.

THE PERSON:

  • Computer Literate, able to use Outlook, excel and word. 
  • Experience of working in a corporate reception environment
  • Able to use the reception and switchboard systems, entering data and printing out visitor’s replacement passes. 
  • Meet and greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner ensuring clients are made to feel valued by giving them undivided attention at all times.
