Our client, one of the world's leading universities is looking for a Team Assistant to join their team on a temporary part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator with excellent communications skills looking to join an enthusiastic and driven team. The post holder will provide general administrative support for the Academic Partnerships team to support the work of community engagement and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with stakeholders to set up meetings
  • Organising tours and facilitating quick and responsive communications in response to queries
  • Scheduling meetings
  • Booking venues and organising audio visual equipment
  • Managing diaries
  • Sending out invites and ordering refreshments
  • Ensuring the community contacts databases is maintained and regularly updated
  • Assisting in the production, collation and circulation of agendas, minutes and papers of meetings, committees and working group
  • Managing routine correspondence by email, mail and telephone including managing the community engagement general email account
  • Supporting tours of the campus including managing bookings, maintaining a list of attendees, printing materials, booking refreshments and providing assistance during tours
  • Assisting with planning and running of community engagement events including booking venues, arranging catering, purchasing equipment, recruiting volunteers and providing assistance during the event
