We’re recruiting for an experienced IT Support Analyst to join a respected creative agency in Shoreditch

Our client is a multi-award-winning creative agency specialising in brands.

You’re responsible for providing a reliable and effective IT support service to everyone working for or with the Company including clients and consultants. You understand the pressures of different roles within the business and use this to best determine your priorities.

You’re a brilliant communicator and take care to keep those needing your support in touch with when and how you’re able to help them. You care very much about providing a 1st class service to your colleagues and know when and how to use others to support you

– whether it’s the help of our Consultant IT Manager and the third party support supplier to deliver in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support to all employees and guests to the Company either in person or via the phone
  • Record and monitor all support calls and document all solutions to identify common issues over time and find ways to reduce these in the future and to identify where additional IT resource is required
  • Partner with the Consultant IT Manager and third party support to resolve issues quickly, keeping employees informed with regular progress reports
  • Hold weekly meeting with Finance Director to discuss issues, workload and projects
  • Manage the IT infrastructure, ensuring it remains current and up to date including any automated updates including anti-virus software etc.
  • Propose and manage necessary upgrades to ensure the Company is at the forefront of new technologies and to support productivity
  • Administer the telephone system – both landlines and mobile phones
  • Ensure all assets are marked and logged at all times
  • Ensure all IT, phone and AV systems are regularly maintained to support a longer life

The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:

  • General hardware maintenance and repair skills (Mac, PC and Server)
  • Mac Support OSX 10 and above
  • Windows Desktop Support: Windows 7 – Windows 10.
  • Microsoft Office & Office 365 application support and administration
  • Windows Server 2008 and above with Active directory administration
  • Adobe Creative Cloud support and administration.
  • Setting up new Laptops, PCs, server and networking hardware
  • Maintaining 3rd party supplier relationships and escalation procedures
  • Ordering ad-hoc IT supplies
  • Meeting room support for clients and meetings
  • Apple Deployment Studio
  • Avaya IP Telephony
  • Support of storage solutions for data eg. BOX
  • VPN support
  • Wi-Fi Management
  • Anti-virus installation and monitoring
  • Asset management of all hardware and software
