THE COMPANY:


Our client is a well established global property organisation with a range of business lines. They are looking for a competent administrator to join their friendly busy team.


 


THE ROLE:

 

To provide support to the property management team in the delivery of a high quality service for the benefit of clients and tenants.

 

Key activities

 
  • Assist in the general management of properties under the direction of the Property Manager(s)
  • Compile Excel spreadsheets for portfolio analysis, monitoring and reporting
  • Deal with enquiries from tenants, contractors, utility providers, local authorities, etc
  • Maintain electronic files for each property in accordance with procedures
  • Liaise with the property accounts team over any property queries where necessary
  • Checking and certifying of invoices
  • Updating utility providers and local authorities of tenancy changes
  • Collate data for inclusion in client reports
  • Update in accordance with procedures the portfolio database system (APR)
  • Book inspections of all properties
  • Assist the compliance team with maintaining compliance records and booking in inspections when due
  • As a member of the team, liaise with all management, technical and administration staff
  • Producing arrears analysis as required by Property Managers
  • Undertake specific projects as requested by line manager
 


 


 


THE PERSON:
  • Previous experience in an administrative capacity
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and to work accurately and effectively under pressure
  • Must understand the principles and practice of client care
  • Ability to work in a team and understand team dynamics
 


 
  • QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL ABILITIES
  • Educated to A-level or equivalent
  • Previous experience in property sector preferred but not essential
  • Experience with Accounting or Property Database software
  • Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office with a high level of competence on Excel and Word
