Our client a well-known Arts Organisation requires a Marketing Campaigns Manager to start ASAP. This is a temporary role for two months until they recruit someone permanently.
The main duties are:
- Work with Senior Marketing Manager to identify key programming strands across the organisation
- Ensure print publications meet the highest standards
- Act as brand guardian
- Ensure all copy abides by the organisation's copywriting and style guidelines
- Ensure all third party and external promoter communications adhere to relevant brand guidelines
- Lead on the planning of onsales of seasons and individual events
- Develop and monitor marketing campaign
- Seek the input of internal stakeholders to feed into campaign planning process
- Brief the Marketing assistant in researching and cultivating marketing opportunities to support the planning of campaigns
- Brief and instruct external editors and copywriters and inhouse/external designers in preparing copy and images for events
- Oversee the delivery of direct marketing campaigns
- Oversee the creation of print publications
- Manage all regular email communications
- Liaise with Digital Marketing team to develop engaging content for the organisations digital platforms
- Act as a first line of contact, develop and maintain good relationships
- Brief and direct external suppliers, ensuring they deliver the best quality of work, delivered to schedule.
- Represent Marketing at budget planning meetings
- Oversee Marketing Assistant in the prompt raising of purchase orders
- Contribute to research projects and post campaign evaluation
- Monitor sales and produce reports as required
- Ensure all sponsor credits are implemented as agreed in any sponsor contracts
- Line manage the Marketing assistant
- Undertake any other duties that may be required
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent with a qualification in Marketing, PR or Communications / or an equivalent level of skills knowledge and experience. You need to have significant experience of creating, developing and implementing innovative marketing campaigns, preferably in an arts environment. You need to be a confident and excellent communicator, verbally and in writing, able to use initiative and generate ideas. You need to be able to work to tight deadlines and maintain a calm, ordered approach and have strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel to advanced level. A detailed and wide-ranging knowledge of theatre and dance, including artists and performs is desirable.
