Conveyancing Legal Assistant / Legal Secretary – Edgbaston

An opportunity has arisen for a conveyancing legal assistant / legal secretary to join a highly successful law firm based in their Edgbaston office.

Our client is a well-regarded law firm with a big reputation throughout the West Midlands for their offering across a range of services. Due to expansion, they are now seeking an additional legal assistant / legal secretary to join their successful conveyancing department.

You will provide first class secretarial support and assistance to a busy conveyancing department, where your key duties will include, but will not be limited to;

-          Audio/copy typing

-          Liaising with clients both face to face and over the phone

-          Preparing and drafting legal documents and correspondence using case management systems

-          Key administrative duties

-          Covering office reception

You must have previous experience working as a legal assistant / legal secretary within a conveyancing department, the ability to demonstrate excellent initiative and be able to undertake searches and a good telephone manner.
