Experienced Account Manager required to join Management Consultancy firm based in London, Piccadilly. Joining the team of 5 in the London office, you will be part of a global network of offices and provide client Account Management support specifically for FTSE listed FMCG and beverage clients. An exciting time to join the company who have recently merged with a larger firm creating opportunities for growth and progression to a Senior Account Manager with excellent training and development.
Key Duties:
Client Development (Sales)
• Lead planning and project management of new client development within a target sector/team
• Produce new client sales materials, proposals and contracts
• Leverage internal software system for client development tracking
• Research prospective new clients and provide pre-meeting briefs
• Orchestrate client development events and 'market visits'
• Liaise with senior level clients and their team to set up client development meetings
• Occasionally participate in client development calls and meetings
Client Service
• Lead logistical execution of client workshops from securing dates and resources through organizing venues and on site requirements through post-workshop evaluations and actions
• Occasionally attend client workshops on site – both domestic and international (2 to 4 days each)
• Create client-facing output documents post-workshop
• Schedule client calls and meetings
• Report on client engagement status internally and to clients on a regular basis
• Ensure client and MR contractual obligations are met
Finance
• Produce proposals and contract pricing
• Produce and issue invoices to clients, chase payments
• Work with Finance team on month-end, year-end closures as related to client revenue (ensure audit ready)
• Perform client margin analysis in conjunction with Finance
• Act as point person for Finance and Partner/Consultant team on credit control, margin, and other related issues
Administrative
• Share phone answering and other office responsibilities with office team
• Book travel and submit expenses through internal system
• Manage calendar scheduling
• Format and proofread documents and presentations using Microsoft Suite
Required experience & skills (Education/Skills)
• Bachelor Degree
• Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel and Power Point), SalesForce.com a plus
• Proven experience leading/managing projects
• Experience with online research and basic analysis and interpret and present data
Personal qualities
• Proactive self-starter
• Excellent at multi-tasking and time management
• Attentive to detail
• Self-aware and gives/receives both positive and constructive feedback well
• Enjoys working in a team
• Able to interface with a variety of personalities and levels of seniority
