Marketing and Events Manager

A very unique and new opportunity to market an innovative event space within a Private Equity firm. If you have exposure to entrepreneurial and technology networks and industries, excellent relationship management skills and event marketing experience, this could be the perfect start to your new year.

Responsibilities

• Creating an events strategy to maximise impact of the new space event space
• Sourcing, creating and developing relationships with clients
• Building and maintaining relationships to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders
• Executing the program of conferences and events including pre event management and on site management
• Understanding all business requirements for internal events and offering suggestions to suit business objective
• Working with the marketing team to ensure the brand flows throughout the event lifecycle and in all event collateral
• Managing the event invitations and guest list
• Managing all event catering requirements, researching and managing event speakers
• Budget creation, management and reconciliation
• Any other ad hoc tasks when required

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a variety of high quality events
• Proven track record in developing new business relationships for corporate events
• Ability to work well in a fast paced and demanding work environment
• Proactive and positive attitude
• Highly organised with strong time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong team player and flexible and adaptable working approach
• An interest in Private Equity is preferred
