A fluent Japanese speaking Audit Administrator is sought after by prestigious investment and trading organisation to look after and provide full administrative support in Japanese and English to the General Manager and a small team of internal auditors who look after all of the companies' EMEA corporate and business units. This is a busy role which requires a diligent and proactive Japanese and English speaking Audit Administrator with seamless multitasking and organisational skills as this team manage the auditing processes for the company's subsidiaries, branches, offices and affiliated companies auditing. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing full administrative support to the General Manager in order to meet the operational needs of the business.
  • Assisting the Internal Auditors with all departmental administration and reporting
  • Monitoring the progress of all audit works from start to finish, managing and adhering to all deadlines of follow-up reports
  • Filing and archiving all audit reports and other important documentation
  • Adhering to company policies, processes and procedures;

Suitable candidates must have first-class written and verbal communication skills Japanese AND English, possess seamless multitasking and organisational skills, a keen eye for detail alongside a demonstrable PA/secretarial/administrative background. Ideally you will have worked within a large international / cooperate environment. You must be very flexible, adaptable and have the ability to work well under pressure in fast paced environments with ever-changing schedules.

Profile

  • Fluent written and spoken English AND Japanese
  • Degree educated in accounting or finance desirable
  • CIA or ACC qualified or studying towards CIA or ACCA.
  • Proven administrative experience from an accountancy / auditing environment (ideally international/blue chip organisations)
  • Good knowledge of Japanese culture and ideally experience of working in Japanese company
  • Methodical with excellent multitasking and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable and professional
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience in international trade or investment business environment is preferable.
