THE COMPANY:

Our client is a financial planning firm based in the heart of the City. 


THE ROLE:

They have an exciting opportunity for a responsible, self-motivated, well organised candidate to support an established successful City IFA.
  • Support for future qualifications will be keenly provided to enable the successful applicant to further their knowledge and ability in the role.  
  • General Administration: Opening / sorting post & dealing with administrative enquiries resulting. Filing post & sort post for work to be done. Fielding of calls / emails from insurance companies / clients etc. Chase outstanding policy information from providers. 
  • Pre-Sales Administration: Send authority letters. Collate and evaluate client policy / investment / pension information, Complete Reason Why Reports accordingly. Use IRESS, Selecta-pension, Exweb and Analytics for fund /portfolio research after training, as necessary. Research suitable products and funds. Obtain ad-hoc details for client servicing.  
  • Sales Administration: Prepare paperwork for client advice i.e. complete application etc. Obtain product research, quotes and literature. Produce client reports where appropriate. Produce valuations, liaise and deal with Compliance Department. Create and maintain client files and enter details on back office database. Scan files to database.  Group Pension scheme administration experience ideal but not wholly necessary.  
  • Post Sales Administration: Administer and submit New Business cases. Update and maintain our database with client details. Chase pipeline business and fees/commissions for any outstanding information. Liaise with pension / insurance companies to finalise the sale through to policy documents and payment. Complete valuations and reports in preparation for client reviews.              
 
THE PERSON:

· Ability to produce analytical reports.
· Very high attention to detail / accuracy
· Ability to work without supervision.
· Capable of meeting deadlines.
· Able to prioritise effectively.
· Good telephone manner.
· Responsible / Forward thinking
· Use initiative
· Good IT skills: WORD, EXCEL, experience of Exweb, Analytics, IRESS useful#
· Ideally part diploma qualified and further qualifications will be encouraged and funded
