Our client is a well-established energy consultancy based in the city.

 


THE ROLE:


 

They are currently looking for two motivated and organised Helpdesk Operators to join the Environment Team. The role will deliver key services for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). Reporting to the Helpdesk Manager, the successful applicants will predominantly assist in managing the helpdesk function, answering client queries (phone and email) regarding products and the certification process. Reporting against internal service levels will also be a key part of the role to ensure the correct resourcing arrangements are in place. A knowledge of the MCS scheme will benefit the candidate but is not essential as training will be provided.


 

• Responding to helpdesk enquiries on the phone and by emails

• Processing and resolving enquires and referring where appropriate within the agreed timescales

• MCS Database management through website uploads and data compilation

• Administrative support, including; drafting correspondence; document processing, and other ad hoc duties as required such as article writing for the MCS newsletter.


 


THE PERSON:


 

The post-holder should possess proven administrative and customer service experience, including demonstrable experience in the following areas:

 

• Exceptional Client focus

• Professional and personable telephone etiquette

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Experience of working as part of a team with exceptional interpersonal skills

• Effective organisational skills

• Ability to use initiative and to manage workload independently
