A highly regarded Professional Services firm are seeking a highly organised, proactive Secretary to support a mixed term of Partners and fee earners within their busy City office.

This role is offered as a 1 year fixed term contract, but there may be the potential for the opportunity to become permanent.

Providing comprehensive secretarial support, your duties will include managing schedules and booking internal and external meetings, preparing letters of engagement, undertaking AML/KYC checks as well as running a range of reporting on a regular basis.

The Secretary will also be responsible for contacting clients in relation to their annual returns, as well as formatting client proposals, producing diagrams using PowerPoint and proof-reading/sense checking all documentation.

Furthermore, you will prepare bills and expenses, take minutes at meetings, and maintain the client database, as well as booking occasional travel and accommodation.
You will also cover the Reception desk when required, due to sickness or booked leave.

To secure this role, you will need to possess a minimum of 5 years' relevant secretarial experience within an Accountancy or Professional Services firm. With strong digital dictation skills, and a minimum 50wpm typing speed, you will also need to be advanced in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Previous experience of proof reading, and invoicing systems, is essential, and you will need to possess experience of dealing with confidential material.
