THE COMPANY: A respected global Investment Bank based in the City. They have exciting expansion plans with amazing opportunities for progression.



THE ROLE: This role is to provide new position or absence cover as required in different areas of the Investment Banking Division. This will give the incumbent a valuable opportunity to work with diverse groups and to build relationships at all levels within the company.


Phone coverage for busy groups/individuals, involving significant interaction with clients and members of the firm at a senior level
• Extensive use of Outlook to include Inbox management for travelling bankers
• Extensive diary management and meeting co-ordination
• Extensive travel arrangements for frequently changing travel schedules: co-ordination of flights, tickets, FX, accommodation, ground transportation and itinerary creation
• Management of expense reimbursement and account reconciliation process
• Timely production/editing of presentation material for use at meetings/presentations, which may involve liaison with computer graphics and reprographics services
• Project: correspondence with client parties, creating and maintaining working group lists, project filing and archiving
• Entering data into the internal management information system on bankers' behalf
• Preparation and maintenance of comprehensive handover notes for each assignment
• Ad-hoc duties as required


THE PERSON: The ideal candidate will have the ability to multi-task effectively and to work on own initiative in a busy environment, constant reprioritisation is required. You will be adaptable and will gain fantastic exposure to all areas of the industry.



• Ability to analyse problems and proactively find solutions.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills. Excellent phone manner.
• Organised and detail oriented.
• Good awareness of confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Experience of working within an Investment Bank or similar environment preferred.
