Award Management System Programme Officer, £30-£35k pa
Our client is an International Charity promoting the rights of girls through work in education, health, child protection, economic security and sanitation. They are seeking a Programme Officer to support and deliver the new Award Management System.
Their office is located in a vibrant part of the Shoreditch area, with good travel connections and a wide variety of eateries and shopping outlets nearby.
What does the role consist of?
- Working with the Business Analyst, develop existing high-level requirements into detailed solution design specifications, in co-ordination with relevant teams to inform, work flow and system design for bespoke implementation of third party software
- Co-ordinate input from various teams in Programmes, Finance and Public Engagement to ensure key process flows, required online forms and reporting needs are captured and included as necessary Liaise with internal IT Project Manager and chosen supplier in delivering key functionality in line with captured business requirements
- Co-ordinate data cleansing and migration into the database in collaboration with the Data & Reporting Officer based on current excel spreadsheet
- Support IT Project Manager to monitor and evaluate project progress against agreed timeline, including management of day-to-day operational aspects, reporting risks to success as necessary
- Develop training and roll-out materials, clarify, agree and enforce the processes and work flows to ensure usage of the system is consistent
- Provide input and potentially a hands-on approach to the testing of the new AMS system
- Ensure compliance with all donor contractual requirements as necessary
- Contribute to the overall smooth operations of the Programme Partnership and Development Unit and Programmes department, including attending team meetings and activities as appropriate
What will the successful candidate be like?
- Experience in Grant Management Lifecycle (or Bids to government and funding)
- Matrix Management
- Co-ordinate across the team in the production of training and system migration material
- Public sector experience
