My client, a large EU organisation based in Canary Wharf, are looking for a bright and proactive Bilingual PA to support their busy Head of Communication on an initial 13 month interim contract to start in Mid-February. This is a busy role where you will primarily be supporting the Head of Communication but you will also support the Stakeholders and Communication and Media and PR teams with administrative duties. You will use your initiative to ensure the department runs smoothly and important deadlines are met.

This is a rare opportunity to use your PA skills and experience in an EU Institution that provides a truly international working environment where everyone is passionate about public health. Extensive training is provided and duties will include:

  • Diary and calendar management
  • Preparing and distributing agendas, meeting documents and meeting minutes
  • Drafting messages and letters in response to external queries
  • Travel and expenses management
  • Drafting reports
  • Organising team training
  • Collaborating closely with internal departments

The working languages of the organization are; Spanish, Czech, Danish, German, Estonian, English, French, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Maltese, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Slovenian, Slovakian, Finnish, Swedish, Greek, Romanian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Norwegian, Icelandic.

Profile

  • Fluency in English and another EU language
  • Proven international PA experience
  • Extensive diary and calendar management experience
  • Proactive and able to use initiative to get things done
  • Advanced MS Office skills including Outlook
  • Ability to cope with a demanding workload to strict deadlines
  • Great team spirit
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working in a multicultural environment
  • Experience within a healthcare, scientific, pharmaceutical or regulatory environment a distinct advantage
  • Experience working within a communications department preferred
