Leading corporate organisation, established over 100 years, require a PA /Team Assistant to provide support to the hugely personable Director of Professional Development and ad hoc support for the Professional Development team. This is an extremely busy and involved role, looking after a highly regarded and hugely popular Director that will require you to use your initiative and excellent communication skills on a daily basis.
The role would suit someone who enjoys variety, is able to take on additional projects, while working in a very collaborative environment. Sense of humour and a positive self-starter with a “can do” attitude is a must for this role!
- Various tasks for the Director of Professional Development including: diary management, meeting organisation, compilation of documents such as PowerPoint presentations, note & minute taking, expenses and other ad hoc tasks.
- Organise complex travel arrangements
- Deal with ad hoc projects and activities for the whole PD team as they arise - provide project management coordination and support and delivering to agreed timescales and standards.
- To collate statistics/data for reporting.
- Deal with a variety of enquiries that come into the team and respond or filter them out accordingly.
- Process all other departmental administrative tasks – travel, sickness, training arrangements etc.
- Support ad-hoc projects such as the current Professional Development Ambition plan, including meeting bookings, action plan tracking etc.
You will enjoy providing first class PA support, be prepared to drop everything to assist when necessary and perhaps have a general interest in Learning and Development or HR:
- Good grounding of PA / support experience within a professional firm
- Polished communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexible, adaptable and willing to take on new responsibilities.
- Excellent computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Hours: 9 – 5pm / 9.30am – 5.30pm, 35 hour per week
