Based at the most beautiful historical venue in the heart of the City, this is a really exciting opportunity to join a small event team who deliver exceptional events for private and corporate clients, on a temporary to permanent basis.

Fantastic opportunity to enhance knowledge of event management and the wonderful history of the City. This is a temporary to permanent position.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the team diary to capture events, site visits and meetings
  • Point of contact for all event enquiries, advising and offering site visits and promoting the venue
  • Pre-event and general event administration including; site visits (setup and delivery), function sheets, attending meetings, on-site event management
  • Assisting with the allocation of contract staff to specific events

Requirements

  • Ideally previous experience in venue diary management and /or corporate events
  • Previous budget management experience
  • Developed communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a dynamic team
  • Reliable, flexible and adaptable working attitude
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a heavy workload to a high standard
  • Fantastic team player; works well in a collaborative team environment
