We are seeking a self motivated and organised HR Adviser for an immediate start to provide comprehensive HR advice and guidance to our UK and international teams. All that this company wants to do is some good in the world and this is your unique chance to jump on board and work with a loving and passionate charity!
With international travel, up to 20% annually!
Who will you be working for?
The company is a leading global charity with an international presence engaging in aid relief and emergency support to children and vulnerable adults. This is an organisation dedicated to helping those in need in all corners of the world. As this organisation is involved with various campaigns and fundraising projects, this means that your time at this company will be both challenging and rewarding. Based in the heart of London Farringdon, great opportunity to explore and venture to various restaurants and bars.
You MUST have a valid DBS certificate due to the nature of the organisation and their mission of helping children and vulnerable adults.
What does the job consist of?

As HR Advisor you will act as the first point of contact for managers and staff (UK and International) and work across the HR team to ensure operational delivery of the full range of HR services.

Help drive the continuous improvement of our HR services by capturing organisational practices to inform policy.

Manage a full range of employee relations cases, including sickness absence, performance management, capability, disciplinary and grievance cases.

Under the direction of the Business Partner, provide support on restructures, including managing redundancies as needed.

Provide HR generalist support on specific projects as required, supporting the HR Business Partners as appropriate.
What will the successful candidate be like?

To be successful you will have experience of managing a wide range of employee relations cases and international HR experience in the field or from a UK international facing team.

Good Organisational skills

Flexibility in supporting of programs activities

Been able to adapt to a constant changing context

An all round people person

Good relationship building skills.

The ability to challenge managers in order to influence behaviour and thinking.

A coaching approach to supporting managers

Good working knowledge of employment law

Experience working in medium to large organisations and large HR teams.
You MUST hold a valid DBS certificate due to the nature of the organisation and their mission of helping children and vulnerable adults.
