Temporary Senior Event and Marketing Manager

An exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and polished Senior Event and Marketing Manager to work for a leading London Art Venue. This would be a fantastic role for someone who has a proven track record in sales and marketing, thrives on creating and sustaining strong client relationships and has excellent experience in delivering exceptional events.

Responsibilities

• Manage the sales and booking of events; monitor and manage enquiries, meet clients and advise on how to meet goals and objectives;  promote offers and lead on new business development
• Create unique event experiences
• Build and maintain effective working relationships and negotiate special rates with suppliers and contractors
• Maintain effective working relationships with internal departments to ensure the event is hosted in line with venue hire terms and conditions
• Ensure all bookings are confirmed and that necessary documentation is in place
• Report monthly on sales and approaches and oversee budgets

Requirements

• Previous experience in delivering sales and marketing strategies, achieving targets and managing large scale events
• Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise and negotiate for effective sales
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills
• Developed communication skills both written and verbal
• Advanced Microsoft Office Skills 
• Flexible and adaptable working approach, with the ability to work longer hours when required
• Ability to manage a varied and heavy workload
• Ability to motivate and inspire teams
