The position
They are recruiting for a Bid Coordinator/ Project Administrator with industry experience who is strong in InDesign as this will be the main part of your role. Duties to include:

  • Working with the team to update Pitch Documents using InDesign and sometimes PowerPoint.
  • Working with the team on tender documents and pre-qualification questionnaires.
  • Creating PRF’s (Prospect registration forms)
  • Liaise with project designers, sub-contractors, building control, H&S consultants and input information in to O&M manual.
  • Creating site set up packs.
  • Issuing meeting agendas for weekly sales meetings and type up minutes.
  • Answering phone and emails.
  • Diary management for Director and team- booking meetings and making travel arrangements.
  • Extensive sub-contractor and client liaison by phone and email.
  • Organise events.
  • Assist Marketing department with information for case studies upon project completion. 
  • Monitoring the HP Tracker (data entry).
  • Raise purchase orders for Project Managers.
  • Produce schedule of site conditions, snagging lists, progress reports.
  • Supporting Site Managers with various admin

The person

  • Ability to demonstrate a strong administration background within the Construction/Design and Build industry. 
  • Experience of working with InDesign and PowerPoint
  • Possess good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment, coping well with working with strict deadlines.
  • Good typing skills, use of audio equipment for typing minutes is preferable.
