Fundraising/Development Executive, £30K, Central London

A great opportunity has come up for a Development Executive to join a well known and well respected charity in Central London. This role will have you fundraising and growing the number of donors to support the their key programmes within the charity.

Who will you be working for?

You will be working for a Charity whose mission is to achieve worldwide conservation of animals and their habitats. This is an amazing charity with a great message and would be the perfect opportunity for an animal lover!

What does the role consist of?

• Develop & implement a recruitment, engagement and retention plan for Fellowship, Legacy Giving and In Memoriam/In Celebration Giving
• Effectively stewarding current legacy pledgers and engaging them to be legacy champions
• Ensure strong promotion and visibility of these key income streams through mailings, on-site and website promotion, publications and events
• Drafting tailored, impactful and relevant written communications including printed materials, event invitations, letters, website updates, on site signage and proposals

What will the successful candidate be like?

• You will have proven experience leading/ working in a membership driven programme and fundraising from individuals, preferably in the field of legacy fundraising
• Member of the Institute of Fundraising (desirable).
• Prior experience of individual fundraising and managing relationships with donors.
• Able to develop positive working relationships with a range of people internally and externally.
