As the Business Operations Manager your role is central to the hugely progressive Consultancy firms operational success and future growth, effectively building, supporting and driving the backbone of the business. You will work side by side with the companies Managing Director and Founder, to drive an aggressive three-year business plan forward within the Richmond Upon Thames office.

Our client is a growing Consultancy, established in 2012, focused on working with leadership teams to shape organisational culture. It is a global organisation based in Richmond-Upon-Thames and the companies clients are typically large (FTSE 250 or equivalent) companies with international operations.

Description

As the Operations Manager within the Richmond Upon Thames location, you will undertake the following:

  • Finance - overall responsibility for accounting, reporting and financial management; Invoicing and collections
    • Marketing - Responsibility for building and maintaining the Consultancy brand
    • IT - Systems maintenance (Accounting, CRM); system and process improvement; development of an IT support framework
    • Administration - physical and electronic filing; internal & supplier relationship & communications; ordering supplies and company materials
    • Facilities - office management and maintenance - including an anticipated office move in 2018

    Profile

    The ideal Operations Manager within the Richmond Upon Thames office will be/have:

    • A background within an Operations Manager role - 2 - 3 years
    • Commercially astute with high levels of organisation
    • Previous operational experience in a medium or large business
    • A flexible and resourceful person who takes initiative and works effectively in a high pressure environment
    • Enthusiasm for process re-engineering and genuine desire to structure complex business problems and implement solutions
    • A consultative style and desire to make things happen on the ground
    • Energetic, supportive and empathetic open-minded personality
    • Able to lead large scale project/programmes in a structured and timely fashion
    • Advances knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
